Many hundreds
of children from all parts of Israeli society get otherwise-unaffordable
access to quality home-care, home-care equipment and the best available
therapies. We have funded more than 25,000 para-medical therapy
sessions in the past four years (data updated as of March 1, 2008).
Keren Malki, the foundation's Hebrew name, is one family's effort to
honor the memory of a
much-loved
child. Malki's
life ended in an act of murder, driven by hatred and intolerance. She
was 15. This website and the Malki Foundation's work are a loving
memorial to her life.
Please
support our work.

Suggestions: How You Can Help
|
|
How can you help the Malki Foundation team to expand and develop
our work?
We're frequently asked, and of course we want to be
constructive. So we have put this list together and we will
continue (it's now September 2006) to expand it. Please feel
free to send us your suggestions.
-
Let's start
here: you can point people to our website. Family, friends,
personal contacts - everyone has some.
-
Make a
donation via our web site or through one of our overseas
Friends organizations.Details are at
http://www.kerenmalki.org/supporting/index.htm
-
Help establish
a contact between the Malki Foundation and individuals and
organizations (churches, synagogues, community centres) who
you feel will be interested in promoting the foundation’s
work.
-
Facilitate
contact between the Malki Foundation and journalists from
the print and electronic media (both locally, nationally and
internationally) who you feel would be interested in posting
articles and interviews which highlight the Malki
Foundation’s projects and programmes.
-
Request
information from the Malki Foundation Team about
participating in our
“Significant Anniversaries Programme” (baby
showers, brit, christening, confirmation, Bar/Bat Mitzvah,
pre-wedding showers)
-
Request
information from the Malki Foundation team about how to set
up a local “Friends of The Malki Foundation” in your country
-
If you are not on our
mailing list already,
please add
your name and email address to receive updates and mailings
about the Malki Foundation’s work. Names and email addresses
are never shared with any third-party.
-
If you have
implemented successful fund-raising events in your community
– please share yours ideas, comments and photographs with
the Malki Foundation team so that we can display the
material on our web site and encourage visitors to adopt,
adapt and implement similar ideas in their communities.
-
Encourage the
organizers of local community charity events (for example,
concerts, theatre productions, exhibitions) to make a
donation to the Malki Foundation.
-
Join the “Schools
Support The Malki Foundation” programme.
