Keren Malki: Out of tragedy, addressing the challenges of home-care

If you're at this page, then you are probably aware already that a beautiful fifteen year-old girl devoted to children with disabilities is the inspiration for Keren Malki (Malki Foundation), incorporated on 9/11, the fateful day when the world learned to confront the horrors of terror.

Malka Chana Roth's family faced its own horror a month earlier when Malki was murdered in a massacre carried out by an Islamic terror gang in Jerusalem's crowded Sbarro restaurant.

Responding to the act of barbarism, the Roths established a practical, straightforward organization which delivers concrete and practical solutions for families wanting the best possible home-care for their child with severe disabilities.

Keren Malki gives meaningful assistance to such families by making long-term free-of-charge loans of specialized equipment and by enabling highly subsidized, specialist, in-home therapy services. Both are usually beyond the families' means - or simply unobtainable in Israel. Keren Malki's services reach families all over Israel, irrespective of their religion.
